The Hallmark Firm partnered with Harrison Place Studio and Geo Buffalo to support Erie County’s Impediments to Fair Housing and Capital Improvements Study, contributing to analysis, community engagement, and equity-focused planning. As part of the project team, Hallmark helped document resident and stakeholder input collected through countywide public meetings, focus groups, and hearings, and supported the identification of systemic barriers to fair housing choice, including segregation, access to transportation, housing quality, and affordability. The final report informed Erie County’s Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan by translating community feedback and data into actionable recommendations that advance fair housing compliance, equitable investment, and long-term community development strategies.
